Who is Leventhal Design & Communications?Leventhal Design & Communications is an independent computer aided engineering services company founded in 1994. We are seasoned engineering professionals with extensive industry experience and engineering education in RobustDesign®, product development, and modeling and simulation. We have an excellent record of implementing modeling and simulation to achieve design results. When working with one OEM’s new PCB development, we reduced the design iterations from 3.5 to 1.1. Biography
Roy's 45-year career includes extensive experience in RF circuits, semiconductor applications, components, reliability, failure analysis, signal integrity, and EMI-EMC. He has integrated his diverse knowledge in the book Semiconductor Modeling: For Simulating Signal, Power, and Electromagnetic Integrity, Springer 2006 (ISBN 0-387-24159-0). Roy is currently active in the IEEE EMC Society Technical Committee on Signal Integrity (TC-10). Roy has been active in the IBIS Committee, having served on the subcommittee for model quality. He has taught signal integrity at Cadence Design Systems, 3Com Corporation, and IEEE EMC Society meetings. He is currently working on the Boeing 787 project, doing EMI-EMC testing, trouble-shooting, test procedure generation, and modeling and simulation. Roy earned his MSEE at Illinois Institute of Technology and has performed additional post-graduate studies in semiconductor device physics and RF microwave circuit design. |

Leventhal is co-owner of Leventhal Design & Communications, where he consults in
semiconductor modeling and simulation in IBIS, SPICE and Scattering-Parameters,
signal integrity, power integrity, and EMC (electromagnetic control).
